PM Modi to Distribute 70,000+ Appointment Letters at Rozgar Mela on Saturday

New Delhi, Jul 21: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to newly-inducted recruits, and he will address them through a video conferencing event, as announced by his office. The Rozgar Mela is scheduled to take place at 44 locations across the country, involving recruitments in central government departments, state governments, and Union Territories, all supporting this initiative, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The distribution of more than 70,000 appointment letters will occur on July 22 at 10:30 am, with the Prime Minister personally addressing the appointees on this significant occasion. These recruits have been selected from various regions of the country and will be joining various ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Department of Water Resources, Department of Personnel and Training, and the Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.

The Rozgar Mela aims to fulfill the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritizing employment generation. It is expected to serve as a catalyst in furthering employment opportunities and empowering the youth, encouraging their active participation in national development.

To aid in the development and training of the newly-appointed individuals, the Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, offers access to more than 580 e-learning courses, facilitating ‘anywhere any device’ learning format for the recruits, as highlighted in the statement.
