Jammu’s underprivileged residents gain access to advanced hearing solutions as BestSound Center 3.0 opens, offering free hearing aids to the community in a significant collaboration between Hearing Help and WS Audiology.
On October 16, 2026, Hearing Help Pvt Ltd and WS Audiology (WSA) launched the BestSound Center (BSC) 3.0 in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. This innovative center reflects WSA’s consumer-first model, evolving beyond traditional clinical approaches to focus on personal experiences in hearing care.

To commemorate the launch, WSA, in association with the Suryoday Foundation, donated 150 hearing aids to 75 residents of Jammu who lack the financial resources for such treatment. This initiative underscores both organizations’ mission to enhance accessibility to hearing care in the region.
Experiencing a New Phase of Hearing Care
Housed at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu – 180004, the BSC 3.0 caters directly to the burgeoning need for improved hearing solutions. According to the World Health Organization, about 63 million Indians suffer from auditory impairments. Alarmingly, this number could reach 700 million globally by 2050, illustrating a vital need for services like BSC 3.0.
Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India, expressed enthusiasm about the center’s potential impact. “We aim to eliminate barriers to hearing care caused by location or finances,” he stated. “Our investment in Jammu will enable locals to access the world-class technologies and care standards we offer globally.”
The center’s design fosters an environment that encourages exploration. Guests can interact in open, inviting spaces that feature designated areas for diagnostics, counseling, and aftercare. Notably, the facility includes advanced hearing evaluation tools, digital fitting suites, and immersive sound zones that simulate real-life listening experiences.

A key feature of the BestSound Center includes access to WSA’s renowned hearing aid brands: Signia and Widex. Research indicates individual sound preferences vary widely, meaning both brands cater to distinct listening environments and personal needs. Signia excels in noisy settings, while Widex captures natural sounds, ensuring users receive tailored solutions from their initial fitting.
Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd, highlighted the center’s transformative potential. “Since 2019, we’ve noticed many residents traveling to major cities for hearing aids or foregoing treatment altogether. Now, we bring advanced audiological expertise right to Jammu, redefining local perceptions of hearing care.”
Building Stronger Communities
The collaboration between WSA and Suryoday Foundation identifies individuals who lack hearing resources yet have significant hearing loss. The 75 residents chosen received tailored assessments and fitted hearing aids, brought directly to them by WSA. This initiative significantly alters the lives of beneficiaries, many of whom have been isolated due to untreated hearing loss. Lack of access can hinder conversations and community engagement, but the new center promises to create a bridge to better connections.
“Hearing care must be an option for everyone, irrespective of economic status,” stressed Mr. Pawar. Together with Hearing Help and the Suryoday Foundation, the aim is to facilitate reconnections within families and communities.
“The people we met today are precisely who this center is designed to serve,” remarked Mr. Zargar. The commitment to ongoing care extends beyond just providing hearing aids; it involves follow-up support and community outreach through awareness campaigns to enhance hearing health across Jammu and the neighboring areas.
This partnership signifies a crucial step toward improving hearing health awareness, encouraging residents of Jammu & Kashmir to engage in proactive hearing solutions. The transformation of lives through timely assessments and the right technology underscores the significance of initiatives like BSC 3.0.
